Arooga's opened its first location in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in 2008 with a simple but stubborn idea: a sports bar can serve food worth actually getting excited about. Sixteen-plus years later, that idea has grown into locations across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York — and the philosophy hasn't changed a bit.
Sports bar meets scratch kitchen
The mantra from day one: just because we're a sports bar doesn't mean our ingredients have to suck. Every order comes out fresh and made-to-order, with pretzels and appetizers crafted and distributed through Arooga's own commissary facility to every location.

Each location is equipped with nearly 100 televisions, so there's no such thing as a bad angle on the game. Whether you're at the bar or settled into a booth with your crew, you're catching every play.

Every Arooga's location is a Certified Green Restaurant® — a standard baked into how the brand opens every new door, not an afterthought. You'll even find the commitment in the furniture: tables and wall cladding made from reclaimed wood sourced from felled trees and old barns.
